INTERCOMGO
In short: voice travels directly from one phone to the other in real time and is never recorded or sent to servers. IntercomGo does not ask for name, email, phone number or location. To manage the free trial and PRO licenses, the version downloaded from intercomgo.com uses an anonymous device code. Payments are processed by Google Play or Wompi, depending on where you buy.
The IntercomGo app ("the app") is developed by Johnattan Achury, an individual based in Neiva, Huila, Colombia. Contact: [email protected].
IntercomGo is a voice intercom for motorcyclists. It connects two nearby Android phones over Wi-Fi Direct so their users can talk to each other without cell signal or internet connection.
The app does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services. It does not ask for registration, name, email, phone number or location, and it does not build user profiles.
Audio captured by the microphone is transmitted in real time only to the phone the user chose to connect with, through the direct Wi-Fi Direct connection between both devices. Audio is not recorded, stored or routed through the developer's or any third party's servers.
The app stores the 7-day trial start date and the license status on the phone. In the version downloaded from intercomgo.com, the app also computes a "device ID": an 8-character code irreversibly derived from the identifier Android assigns to the app on that phone. This code does not contain or reveal the user's name, phone number, IMEI or location.
The device ID is sent to the IntercomGo server only to: record the trial start date (so reinstalling the app does not restart it), generate the PRO license key for that phone, and restore the license if the user reinstalls the app. The server stores the device ID, the trial start date and, if there was a purchase, the transaction data described in section 7. The version installed from Google Play does not send the device ID.
The app offers 7 days of full use for free. After that, continued use requires activating the PRO license with a one-time payment, with no recurring charges. Purchases on intercomgo.com: payment is processed by Wompi (Bancolombia) under its own systems and policies. The developer does not receive or keep card or bank account data; it receives from Wompi transaction information (number, amount, status, payment method and buyer email), which it keeps together with the device ID and the issued key for license delivery, support, accounting and legal compliance. Purchases on Google Play: Payment is processed by Google with its own systems, under the Google Privacy Policy. The developer does not receive or keep card or payment method data; Google may provide limited transaction information (for example, order number, product and country) for accounting, support and legal compliance purposes.
The app is intended for people aged 18 and over and is not designed for children.
Under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations, data subjects may access, update, correct and delete their personal data and revoke their consent. Since the app does not collect personal data, the developer does not in principle keep information about its users. If you write to the support email, your contact details will be used only to answer your request, and you may ask for their deletion at any time. Users in other countries may exercise the rights granted by their local law, such as the GDPR, through the same email.
This policy may be updated, for example if the app adds new features. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
